About the Optometrist - Tracy Johansson

​

I grew up in Upper Highway area, Westville and Hillcrest. I feel honoured and passionate to be of service to our community, and love seeing familiar faces and families returning to the practice. After Hours I love to paint and do creative tasks and really enjoy Pixar animations and the theatre.

What made you choose this industry, and what drives you?

​

I loved learning biology and how the body works. I find the eyes particularly interesting and I enjoy the precision and accuracy that comes with diagnosing peoples eyes. People really rely on their sense of sight and I find it very rewarding to improve peoples experience and quality of life.

Look for an optometrist who is based at a particular practice, who you trust and who checks your eyes thoroughly, so they can track the changes of the eyes over the years.
